KLE BBA Dharwad concluded their week long E-waste collection drive on 10th October. Students enthusiastically donated unusable gadgets for responsible recycling.
The weeklong collection drive in Maratha Mandal Polytechnic concluded with prize distribution and an educational session on waste management.
The prizes were sponsored by EMPRI. The collected material will be sent to Ecokaari for upcycling.
Shri Jagadguru Fakkireshwar Government First Grade College, Shirahatti hosted us for an awareness session on E-waste Management on 13/07/2023.
Students wanted to understand how waste management can be implemented in simple ways in rural areas.
KLE International School, Belagavi organized an E-waste awareness program for their students from std 7th to 12th.
Students themselves brought E-waste from their homes and donated it for responsible recycling. They have set a benchmark at a very young age for everyone to follow.
It was also informed to the students that any E-waste they wish to donate can be deposited at any Nagshanti/Anusharan group showrooms in Belagavi.
Sri S.B Mamadapur Arts, Commerce and Science College, Badami hosted us for a session on E-waste management.
The college has agreed to donate their E-waste to us for responsible recycling.
GFGC, Haliyal Science Forum conducted an awareness session on Circular Economy and E-waste Management. B.SC students attended the session, the college has promised to conduct an E-waste collection drive and have further sessions for Commerce and Arts students.
Gouramma B Ankalakote GFGC, Shiggaon have signed a MOU with us. We would conduct sessions and also run collection campaigns in Shiggaon via GFG College, Shiggaon.

On World Environment Day, St, Michael's Higher Primary School, Keshwapur Hubballi hosted us for a session on E-waste management. The audience was 550 strong curious students and Teachers.
We continue to make sure we are able to reach as many students as possible with our awareness sessions.
Maratha Mandal Polytechnic and RecyclEarth Foundation had arranged an E-waste collection drive in Belagavi. We had also arranged a poster/reel competition. Students from different colleges had participated with great enthusiasm to help us spread the message.

Bharatesh Education Trust's Global Business School, Belagavi invited us to raise awareness about E-waste amongst their students. Some students provided their own inputs on how E-waste can be tackled.
IIT Dharwad's Global Center of Excellence in Affordable and Clean Energy (GCoE-ACE) and Lowe's India Pvt Ltd, Bengaluru had arranged an Awareness workshop on Waste Management. Mr. Nayan S Momaya from RecyclEarth Foundation was one of the speakers and he spoke on E-waste and how it can be managed.
Kousali Institute of Management Studies, Dharwad hosted us for "Meet the Executive" session on 11/03/2023. The students were curious to know the career opportunities available in the recycling sector and also wanted to understand how they can make a difference to the environment.
On World Science Day, Parashwanath English Medium School (CBSE) hosted us for an awareness session on E-waste. Students were made aware of what is E-waste and why is it bad for us. About 400 students from Std 5th to 9th were part of the sessions.
IEMS B-School hosted us for an E-waste awareness session. 1st-year students were part of this session. The school management is interested to follow up with initiatives that would help raise awareness in the surrounding industrial area about E-waste.
KLE College of Pharmacy hosted RecyclEarth Foundation for an awareness session on E-waste. About 100 students attended the session. Few students were inquisitive to know about the recycling sector and its future in our country.
Lions English Medium School, Hubballi hosted us for an E-waste awareness session in their campus. The school had specially requested to make sure that even students from std 1st to 4th are part of the session for larger awareness dissipation.
Maratha Mandal's Dental College, Belagavi, hosted RecyclEarth Foundation for an E-waste Awareness session for their students on 08 February 2023. Around 75 students attended the session. Prof. Ramakant Nayak, Dr. Ramya Pai and Dr. Umesh Bhosle were instrumental in arranging the session.
SJMVS Arts and Commerce College for Women hosted us for an E-waste awareness session, Around 200 students from B.Com final year attended the session. They were curious to know the recycling process and the dangers associated with E-waste.
Government First Grade College, Kalgatagi and the unit of Bharat Scouts and Guides (Rangers) conducted an E-waste collection drive in their campus. The college has pledged to donate any E-waste that is generated at a personal level. About 125 students attended the event.
RPD College of Arts and Commerce and GSS Science College hosted us for an E-waste awareness session arranged by the Inner Wheel Club of Belgaum (District 317). About 450 students attended the event.
Samarth Degree College of Commerce, Hubballi hosted us for a session on E-waste awareness. 550 students from 1st and 3rd semesters were present.
Oxford College, Hubballi hosted us for a session on E-waste awareness. About 200 students from BCA 1st and 2nd years attended the session.

An essay competition was arranged on 22/10/2022 in J K English Medium Secondary School, Hubballi. 100 students participated in the competition and expressed their views on how recycling is good for the environment and what steps can students take to make Hubballi a sustainable green city.
E-waste awareness session was conducted in CSI College, Dharwad on oct 17, 2022. The session was attended by faculties, non teaching staff and 575 students.

E-waste and Glass waste awareness program was hosted by KLE Society's M R Sakhare School. 550 Students from std 7th to std 10th attended the presentation, the interaction with the students was interesting since a lot of questions were fired from the students and they felt happy when the answers were properly provided.

The program was attended by about 385 students. The students were curious to understand the concept of E-waste. The content was presented by Ms. Drishti Shah, an alumni of Rotary School. The staff of the school encouraged us and were of the opinion that such initiatives are helpful in spreading the word against E-waste and plastic waste.
