Vijayanagara District Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Vasundhara Kirloskar and Rotary Club Hampi Pearls had organized a 15 day E-waste collection campaign which ended with an E-waste awareness session which was attended by dignitaries and students of various schools and colleges from Hospet. The entire event was also supported by Kirloskar Ferrous, Priyadarshini Hotels amongst a host of other environmentally conscious individuals and entities from Hospet.
Hubli Royal Tangents 30 and Hubli Central Ladies Circle 71 had organized an Ewaste donation drive. The participants enthusiastically donated the Ewaste and were also all ears to understand the recycling process and how it benefits the nation and the environment
As part of the commitment towards the environment, they have donated the E-waste generated in their campus and have encouraged their employees to do the same as well.
Davangere Round Table 76 and 41ers club of India Davangere Diamonds hosted RecyclEarth Foundation for an awareness session on E-waste on 22nd April 2023.
They have also taken up an initiative of collecting voluntary donations of E-waste in Davangere.
Nagshanti Kia hosted RecyclEarth Foundation for an awareness session on E-waste management for their employees.
The outcome was fruitful since all the employees have pledged to donate any E-waste that is present around them. E-waste management would be included as part of their good practices initiative.
An E-waste awareness session was conducted at Sutaria Auto Centre Hubballi. Around 40-45 employees were part of this awareness session. Interesting questions were asked by the employees about E-waste and how can we dispose of them responsibly, some myths about E-waste were also debunked during the session.
A big shoutout to Mansi K Shah for arranging the session. We also explored ways in which we can arrange periodic collection from their office premises.
Christmas was celebrated in a novel way in the head-office of Nagshanti group. The program happened on 25th December 2021. The session was attended by about 25 employees of Nagshanti group. The presentation was done by Mr. Gururaj Kulkarni, HR and Ms. Vaishnavi Sabnis, Assistant HR. The session was a fruitful one since the audience had their own inputs on how we can promote E-waste awareness amongst the masses.
